After the release of this magazine advertisement more than 700 complaints have been made against it. At first the ASA received 2 complaints and it has said to be that the advertisement is "Misleading because the image of Twiggy has been digitally retouched". This was followed by more than 700 complaints supporting the Liberal Democrats Mp's campaign against altering images in adverts.
